Submit

We are looking for original, thought provoking poetry, short fiction, and non-ficion that pushes the boundaries in form and in content.  We want to laugh, cry, wince, and maybe even scratch our heads.  We do not discriminate against any race, color, culture, religion, gender, sexual preference, or otherwise.  We do, however, arbitrarily discriminate against vampire stories and other things that suck.  If you feel that your vampire story is groundbreaking and must be read by the world, we will accept it only after a remittance of $2 per page.  This is not a reading fee, but compensation for pain and suffering.  Should we decide that your vampire piece really is some remarkable untold perspective of the vampire world, and by some far reaches of imagination, accept it, I will literally double your money in return.

All other tasteful entries are welcome electronically.  We at PoetrIE.net do love the tangible presence of the printed word, but we do not see the need in wasting our earth’s valuable resources prematurely.  Just send your submissions via e-mail or through this form.  Once we read it, we will decide if it’s worth killing some trees.

Multiple Submissions are just fine by us.

Poetry, Flash fiction,(up to three per e-mail)
Short Fiction and Non-Fiction, no greater than twenty pages in length are also welcome and greatly encouraged.
We ask that all submissions be accompanied by a short bio of the author.

Please allow up to three months for a response, as we will have stacks of things to read.  We at PoetrIE.net understand the need to submit your work in many places at once.  We only ask that if your work is accepted elsewhere, we be notified as soon as possible.
